On Tuesday, 31 May 2022, the first 40-tonne hydrogen-powered delivery truck designed in Switzerland was unveiled in Geneva.
This truck is part of the “GoH!” (Generation of Hydrogen) project, coordinated by the Nomads Foundation and four economic players – Migros Genève, GreenGT, LARAG and SIG.
An electric-hydrogen propulsion system powers the truck. With an output of 500 horsepower, it covers 600 kilometres. It emits less than one litre of water per kilometre in the form of steam at 80 degrees, much less than the 150 degrees emitted by a car.
The energy used to power the truck will be produced locally and sustainably.
